STOCKHOLM, January 23, 2025 – Paradox Arc and Kodo Linija are thrilled to announce the release of the Hyperspace update for Stardeus, available in Steam Early Access. Stardeus is a captivating colony simulation game that places players aboard a damaged starship, tasked with commanding drones, safeguarding fragile human survivors, and exploring a procedurally generated universe brimming with complexity.
The Hyperspace update introduces a range of new features, including Hyperjump Relays, which enable instant travel between linked locations, and a revamped universe adding three distinct layers: Universe, Region, and Sector. Different layers present unique challenges and varying difficulty levels, enriching exploration and strategy. Additionally, Space Events have been redesigned to occur exclusively during space travel.
The update also adds nanobots, a valuable new addition that streamlines micromanagement by assisting with tasks like construction, demolition, and repairs, for smoother gameplay.
Besides the features mentioned above, the Hyperspace update also expands the game with even more new content and other improvements, including:
- Improved Crafting: All crafting devices now support queuing multiple orders, allowing for better workflow and efficiency, especially for smaller ships but also a quality of life for bigger ones.
- Expanded Content:
- 10 new quests
- New story events
- New tutorials
- Diseases and Immunity: A great addition to add complexity to crew management
- Steam Workshop Integration: Share and download custom ship designs with the community.
- You can now also start a new game with an existing ship, either created by you or someone else.
- General Improvements: Includes various UI enhancements, bug fixes, and balancing adjustments to improve the overall experience.
The Hyperspace update marks a leap forward for Stardeus, offering players a lot of streamlined features and more variety in gameplay.
